A Slew of Security Features
Enjoy maximum security with ThinkShield — a combination of hardware and software solutions, including discrete Trusted Platform Module (dTPM) 2.0 to safeguard data, and BIOS-based Smart USB protection to prevent unauthorized access via peripherals. Also, keep physical theft at bay with chassis e-locks and the Kensington Nano Security Slot™.
Innovative Device Collaboration
While a host of ports and slots connects to multiple peripherals, the optional Smart Cable does so to different devices — even a laptop or tablet. It also helps to share computer control, data, and screen projection between systems. Moreover, the ThinkCentre M75s Gen 5 SFF is easy to deploy from both a software and hardware standpoint.
Durability Meets Reliability
We use the US Department of Defense's MIL-STD 810H to create a balance of reliability and durability for our devices. Meeting or exceeding 12 standards and 17 procedures, the M75s Gen 5 desktop PC is engineered to run in extreme conditions — harsh variables like Arctic wilderness, desert dust storms, extreme temps, pressure, humidity, vibration, and more.
Recycled Plastics & Energy-Saving Certifications
This device uses post-consumer content (PCC) — 85% recycled acrylonitrile butadiene styrene plastics plastics in the chassis. The packaging has 60% PCC, and 30% ocean-bound plastic in the thermal shell and bag, with a Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) certified carton. Plus, ENERGY STAR® 8.0 and TCO 9.0 certifications minimize energy costs.
