Even the RTX 4090 and RX 7900 XTX barely saturate PCIe 4.0 x16 (we are talking 1-2% loss on PCIe 3.0 x16 in extreme tests). PCIe 5.0 for graphics cards won’t be a real bottleneck for years. The ASRock B650I Lightning is widely considered the best value ITX board on AM5 right now—clean VRM heatsink and no noisy chipset fan.

Low profile RAM is getting so hard to find with all the chunky RGB diffusers nowadays. Great find!

Thanks @ditari! I installed a low-profile rotary T-splitter at the lowest port of the bottom rad with an EK ball valve that tucks cleanly into the basement chamber right next to the PSU bay. Drain takes less than 5 minutes.

Can confirm PTM7950 is pure magic on direct-die GPUs. Solves the pump-out issue permanently compared to normal paste. Great writeup!

That 9950X + 5090 combo will chew through anything at 4K max settings with path tracing. What monitor are you pairing it with? An OLED 4K 240Hz would be the absolute dream pairing here.
